What is the value of 8 (x-3.7) if x=4.9?

Take 8 times 4.9 and 8 times 3.7, 8 times 4.9 is 39.2 and 8 times 3.7 is 29.6 now all you have to do is subtract them numbers from each other and it gives you the answer of 9.6
