You just received your final exam score from your teacher. At the top of the exam, it says you missed three questions and got 42 out of 45 questions correct, for a score of 88%. You think your teacher may have made an error when calculating your percentage. If your teacher did make a mistake, what was most likely done incorrectly?

    I would guess that they added 42 and 45 and then added 1 for their mistake. That might be a bit of stretch, but that is what I think

    Step-by-step explanation:

    42/45 = 0.93333

    0.93333 * 100 = 93.3333

    I'm not sure what she did wrong but maybe she added 3 to the 45 total to get 42/48 = 87.5 which rounds to 88.
