If y - 4 = 2x, which of the following sets represents possible inputs and outputs of the function, represented as ordered pairs?

    The first thing we want to do is to make the equation a function, so we put y by itself on one side,

    Add 4 to both sides

    y = 2x + 4 <<< This is the equation that we will use

    So if we input these numbers in,

    The answer seems to be D. Where if x = 0 then y = 4 and so on
