    Let x be the amount of quarters

    Let y be the amount of dimes

    X + 8 = y

    Y + x = 2.80

    Substitute

    Y * x = 2.80

    (X+8) + x = 2.80

    2x = - 6.80

    x = - 3.40

    See this doesnr make sense

    Because there cant be a negative amount of dimes
