How do you simplify this algebraic expression? 2 (-6+5k) + 7k

    The answer is - 12+17k

    You foil 2 (-6+5k) + 7k

    2*-6 = - 12

    2*5k = 10k

    -12+10k+7k

    = - 12+17k
