The speed limit is 50 per hour. Kyle is driving to a baseball game that start in 2 hours. Kyle is 130 miles away from the baseball field. If kyle drives at the speed limit will he arrive in time

    1. You have to follow the proccedure below:

    V=dxt

    V is the speed (V=50 miles/hour).

    d is the distance (d=130 miles).

    t is the time (hours).

    2. You must clear the time "t" from V=dxt, as below:

    V=dxt

    Vxt=d

    t=d/V

    3. When you susbtitute the values into de formula t=d/V, you obtain:

    t = (130 miles) / (50 miles/hour)

    4. Then, the result is:

    t=2.6 hours

    5. As you can see, the baseball game starts in 2 hours and he will arrive in 2.6 hours. Therefore, he will not arrive in time.
