    d=distance in miles a = plane's airspeed in mi/hr

    d=2 (a-25) = 1.5 (a+25)

    2a-50=1.5a+37.5

    0.5a=87.5

    a=175mi/hr

    Plug 175 into the expression above:

    2 (175-25) = 2*150=300

    d=300 miles
