Eric and Frank want to equally share four thirds feet of rope. What length of rope should each friend get.

    It is 2/3 because divide 4:2 and you will get 2/3.

    Each friend should receive 2/3 of rope. Just divide 4/3 divide 2. Then you multiply 4/3 times 1/2 and you get 2/3.
