What is the trigonometric expression of sec^2x - 1 divided by sec^2x?

    Hello:

    (sec²x - 1) / sec²x = (sec²x / sec²x) - 1/sec²x

    = 1 - 1/sec²x

    = 1 - (1/secx) ²

    = 1 - cos²x

    = sin²x
