    48 mph

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Car B drove for 32 minutes. Car A drove for 17 minutes.

    32 - 17 = 15

    Car B drove for 15 minutes more than car A.

    Car B drove 12 miles more than car A.

    That means that in 15 minutes, car B drove 12 miles.

    speed = distance/time

    15 minutes * (1 hour) / (60 minutes) = 0.25 hour

    speed = (12 miles) / (15 minutes)

    speed = (12 miles) / (0.25 hour)

    speed = 48 miles/hour

    Answer: 48 mph
