    g (x) = 2x-6

    f (x) = - 4x + 7

    (g•f) (x) = g (f (x))

    = 2 (f (x)) - 6

    = 2 (-4x+7) - 6

    = - 8x + 14 - 6

    = - 8x + 8

    now

    (g•f) (1) = - 8 (1) + 8 = - 8+8

    = 0

    so option a is answer
