    Let the first number=x and the second number = x+1 so

    2 (x) + 3 (x+1) = 83 2 (16) + 3 (17) = 83

    2x+3x+3=83 32+51=83

    5x=83-3

    5x=80

    5x/5=80/5

    x=16 16+1=17

    Therefor the two consecutive integers are 16 and 17
