    The probability = 11/36

    Total number of outcomes = 36

    Event E is when the sum of the two dice = 6

    E={ (1,5), (2,4), (3,3), (4,2), (5,1) }

    Total number of outcomes of getting 6 is = 5

    Probability of event E

    P (E) = 5/36

    Event F is when the sum of the two dice = 7

    F = { (1,6), (2,5), (3,4), (4,3), (5,2), (6,1) }

    Total number of outcomes of getting 7 is = 6

    Probability of event F

    P (F) = 6/36

    Probability of getting a 6 or a 7

    =5/36 + 6/36 = 11/36
