    The equation is c (x) = 15x and it will take 9.4 months.

    To find the combined function (c (x)) we have to add the 2 functions together.

    9x + 3 (2) x

    9x + 6x

    15x

    The combined equation would be: c (x) = 15x.

    Now, solve the following equation to determine the number months until they reach 141.

    141 = 15x

    9.4 = x
