    Answer: To me this quote means that when life is going fairly well, you still have to be prepared just in case things go bad. & even if life is going good, it doesn't mean things still won't go bad in the future. I can apply it to my life because this is very good advice to follow. It's a good quote to live by because it's true, you always have to prepare yourself so you won't be supieses for when life goes bad.
