Ratio of employees to employees laid off in a Company = 5:1

Let the number of employees to employees laid off be 5x and x.

    Number of employees laid off=22

    →x=22

    So, Total Number of employees

    =22 * 5

    =110

    The answer is 110 employees

To work this out, you times 22 (the amount of laid off employees) by 6 (the ratio added together) to get 132 employees.

However, you have to subtract 22 due to the laid off employees, giving you a final answer of 110 employees.
