15/4 plus - 4 1/3 write as a fraction simplest form

    Answer: to subtract you need to find the least common denominator and for 4 and 3 that would be 12

    15/4 x 3 = 45/12

    -4 1/3 = - 52/12

    45/12 - 52/12 = - 7/12

    -7/12 can't be simplified any further

    therefore

    15/4 plus (-4 1/3) = - 7/12
