Julie collects antiques. She bought one antique for $300. Its current value is represented by the expression 300 (0.75) t, where t is the number of years Julie has owned the antique. Is Julie's antique going up or down in value?

    The value in this case would be going up. Since. 75 being multiplied by an increasing number would only increase, the value must be doing the same.

    However, if that t were an exponent, the value would be decreasing. The more a number between 0 and 1 is multiplied by itself, the smaller it gets.

    The vaulue is decreasing since you multiple by a decimal which isn’t a whole number.
