Andrea's car get 25 miles per gallon of gas. The cabin is 190 miles away. How many gallons of gas will she need to get there?

    Ok so its the same thing with using proportions. 25/1 twenty-five per mile 190/x miles needed and unkown amount Cross multiply 25 times x and 190 times 1. 25x = 190. Divide by 25 on each side. X = 7.6

    =7.6 gallons
