    Perimiter is the distance around it

    it can be split up into a rectangle and a semicircle

    find the perimiter around the ractangle then the semicircle

    so 2 sides are showing and 1 base so 3+3+6=12

    rectangle total (not including part covered by semicircle because you don't include it) is 12

    then semicircle

    circumference=2 times pi times radius

    2 times radius=diameter

    diameter=6 because the base is 6 and that lines up with the diameter

    so circumference=6 times pi

    c=6pi

    add

    12+6pi=answer

    the answer is 12+6π

    (if you aprox pi to 3.14 then you would get an answer of 30.84)
