    The height will be same in 6 years time

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Since we do not know the years it would take, we can call this x

    Kindly note that 12 inches is 1 feet, so 5 ft would be 60 inches and 10 feet will be 120 inches

    Now, the height of tree A after x years would be;

    60 + 18x

    For tree B, height would be 120 + 8x

    Now, we were made to know that they have equal height at the xth year.

    Thus;

    60 + 18x = 120 + 8x

    10x = 120-60

    10x = 60

    x = 60/10 = 6
