    The answer is 1734.85

    I'm going to use 3.14 in place of pi, otherwise the answer won't be one of the options.

    Area of a can is:

    A = 2 (pi) rh + 2 (pi) r^2

    Divide the diameter by 2 to get the radius, you get 8.5

    A = 2 (3.14) (8.5) (24) + 2 (3.14) (8.5^2)

    A = 1734.85
