Sue is placing cookies in bags. She has 10 peanut butter cookies and 16 oatmeal cookies. She will place the same number of cookies in each bag and there will be only one type of cookie in each bag. If sue places the greatest number of cookies possible in each bag, how many bags will she need?

    Since sue can't have two of the same cookies in a bag, you have to look at the smallest number. Sue would use up all the 10 peanut butter cookies, but still have 6 oatmeal cookies left.

    Answer:

    Sue can make 10 bags of cookies.
