    The first store offers a better deal, it gives 3 for 9 dollars while the other one offers less apples for the same price

    3/4 = 9

    2/3=9

    3/4 times 3 = 9/12

    2/3 times 4 = 8/12

    Store one has the better deal because you get more for your money
