    The ratio of minivans to other vehicles is 2:5.

    Since there's 161 total vehicles, the ratio actually has a constant, k.

    In reality, the unsimplified ratio is 2k:5k

    In ratios, you'll get the total if you add both the numerator and denominator.

    So:

    2k + 5k = 161

    7k = 161

    k = 23

    5 * 23 = 115

    115 vehicles are not minivans.

    Good luck!
