Why is 0.17 grater than 0.165

    0.17 is greater than 0.165. In the hundredths place, 0.17 has a 7 in the hundredths place, 0.165 has a 6 in the hundredths place

    Compare 7 and 6, 7 is bigger so 0.17 is bigger than 0.165

    0.17 is greater than 0.165 because if you look at it you will see the tenths are the same so then you look to the hundredths and then you will realize that a 7 is bigger than a 6. and that means no number after that matters.
