In a recent survey, 55% of pet owners have more than one pet. If there were 620 pet owners surveyed, which proportion can be used to find the number who own more than one pet?

    100%-55%=45%

    we are going to use the 45%

    620 x. 45 = 279

    279 people have just one pet
