Larry rolls 2 fair dice and adds the results from each.

Work out the probability of getting a total more than 8.

    Of the 36 different possible results of rolling a die twice, 10 of them have a total greater than 8.

    Therefore, the probability of getting a total greater than 8 is 10/36 = 5/18
