From 2004 to 2014, the amount of money invested in renewable energy worldwide increased from $39.5 billion to $214.4 billion.

What was the percent increase of money invested during that time? Round to the nearest tenth.

    Take 214.4 and divide by 39.5. You end up with 5.47278487. Since we are talking percent, multiply that answer by 100 and round to the nearest tenth which gives us 542.70 or 542.8%. Pretty sure that is your answer
