A hotel cost $89 per night. sally will receive a $5 per night discount for paying in advance. a rental car cost $35 per day plus tax that totals $4 per day. which expression can sally use to find how much she will pay for the hotel and rental car for five days.

    You can multiply both 89 and 5 by both 5 because it's over a course of 5 days, than subtract the total by each other. For the rental you have to multiply, 35 by 5 and 4 than add those two sums together. Once you have all the totals, add them all together to get your answer
