    The theoretical probability is what the predicted outcome of the experiment would be if we lived in a perfect world where everything happened as we predicted it.

    So, when you flip a coin the odds of it being heads is 1/2. That is the theoretical probability.

    The experimental probability is what actually ends up happening.

    Because we don't live in a perfect world the results were a little off from what was expected. 45/55. (That ends up being simplified to the 11/20 btw.
