    independent variable - a. number of texts sent (because it's the variable that isn't affected by the any other variables and hence is independent)

    dependent variable - c. total amount charged for texting (because it depends on the independent variable)

    constant (not a question, but just to let you know) - charge per text (because it doesn't not change and hence is constant)
