You would multiply 20% and 32% and get 0.064 or 6.4%

Let A be the probability that Andy choose red

Let B be the probability that his boss approves

    Solution:

    P (A and B) = P (A) X P (B)

    = 0.32 X 0.20

    = 0.064

Convert the 0.064 to percentage, multiply it by 100.

    =0.064 x 100

    =6.4%
