    Assuming an equilateral triangle of 841 miles on each side.

    Each angle of the triangle must be 60 degrees, and the height of the triangle is H=841*sin (60) = 841*sqrt (3) / 2

    B=base = 841 miles

    So area = (1/2) base*height

    =841*[841*sqrt (3) / 2]/2

    =306261.66 sq. miles.
