Consider f (x) = 1.8x - 10 and g (x) = - 4. Select the equation that can be used to find the input value at which f (x) = g (x), and then use that equation to find the input, or x - value.

    F (x) = 1.8x - 10 ... g (x) = - 4

    f (x) = g (x)

    1.8x - 10 = - 4

    1.8x = - 4 + 10

    1.8x = 6

    x = 6 / 1.8

    x = 3.33 or 3 1/3
