Answer:If the radius of circle is increased by 5 percent then the area is increased by what percentage?

Area of circle, A = πr²

    When radius is 1 unit; A = π unit²

When the radius of circle is increased by 5%

    Increased radius = 105/100 = 1.05 unit

    Increased area = π (105/100) ² = π (1.05) ² = 1.1025π unit²

    Increase in area = (1.1025 - 1) π = 0.1π unit²

    Percentage Increase = (0.1025/1) * 100 = 10.25%

If the radius of circle is increased by 5 percent then the area of circle is increased by 10.25%.
