A rectangular blanket is 70 inches long and 48 inches wide. Kim wants to put a border along the edge of the blanket. What is the least amount of ribbon Kim need to go around the edge of the blanket

    Kim needs a ribbon that is 6,720 inches long, because 48*70=3360. Then, since there are 4 sides, not just 2, you would have to multiply 3360*2 and that will give you 6720.
