4 (x + 3) = 2 (6 + 2x)

how do i solve this

    1 st you do distributetive property so 4 times x is 4x and 4 times 3 is 12 then you distribute the other side so 2 times 6 is 12 and 2 times 2x is 4x

    So now u have the equations 4x + 12 = 12 + 4x and now u can tell that they are equal to each other by using communative property

You bring all the terms that have x on one side and the terms don't have x on the other side, remember, when you bring terms from one side to the other, you must change the sign of the term. 4x-4x=12-12. 0x=0. Therefore, x=R, meaning every number will fits x.
