    1 necklace requires 619 in. of wire

    1 bracelet requires 313 in. of wire

    The total length of wire = 2813.

    Let x = the number of necklaces made.

    Let y = the number of bracelets made.

    The total amount of wire used is 2813 in., therefore

    619x + 313y = 2813

    y = (2813 - 619x) / 313

    y = 8.9872 - 1.9976x

    Create a table of x versus y.

    x: 0 1 2 3 4

    y: 9 7 5 3 1

    Answer:

    (0,9), (1,7), (2,5), (3,3), (4,1)
