The Nutty Professor sells cashews for $7.40 per pound and Brazil nuts for $4.70 per pound. How much of each type should be used to make a 23 pound mixture that sells for $5.99 per pound?

    X+Y=23

    7.4x+4.7y=6

    X=cashews

    Y=Brazil nuts

    Solve for x and y (hopefully you can do that)
