Write an equation in slope-intercept form of a line with a slope of 3 and a y-intercept of - 2.

    The answer is y=3x-2

    slope intercept form is y = mx + b

    m stands for slope and the b stands for the y-intercept form. just replace it with the numbers.

    y = 3x + (-2) ... keep in mind that the "+" sign will be there but in this case that negative sign from - 2 will change the answer to y = 3x - 2

    remember a negative next to a positive turns to a negative.
