    Assume x is the distance and y the cost.

    First plan:

    y = 63.96 + 0.12x

    Second plan:

    y = 49.96 + 0.14x

    Find the distance x when the cost is same.

    63.96 + 0.12x = 49.96 + 0.14x

    0.14x - 0.12x = 63.96 - 49.96

    0.02x = 14

    x = 14/0.02

    x = 700 miles

    Good luck
