Mr. Wong bought 6 raffle tickets for $4 each. He gave each of his 3 children the same number of tickets. What was the cost of the tickets per child?

    W=cost of one ticket

    6w=$4

    divide 6 on both sides

    w=2/3 dollars per ticket

    each child will get two tickets because 6/3 is 2

    2/3*2 = 4/3 = $1.33 per child

    There are 6 raffle tickets for 4 dollars each and he has 3 kids.

    Thats 2 tickets per child.
