I started by finding the factors of 110. I used 11 x 10. And then, that is 11 x 5 x 2
Looking at 88, it is easily 8 x 11. Than it is 2 x 4 x 11. So they share 11 as a factor. But they could both have 22 as a factor if we combine 11 x 2 for each. So 110 = 22 x 5 and 88 = 22 x 4.
