(but I will include an answer if they didn't) ... the circufrence of a circle is 2*pi*r, so 2*pi*r=50.24. When you divide both sides by 3.14, you get 2r=16, meaning r=8. Without rounding, r would actually be 50.24 / (2*pi)

    R=8 when pi is 3.14 when it's not rounded it would be 50.24 I think
