Wayne has a recipe on 3 inch by 5 inch index card that he wants to enlarge to 15 inches long. how wide will the enlargements be?

    To make 15 inches from 3 inches, we need to multiply 3 by 5. To find out the width, we do the same with the other measurement: 5 * 5 = 25. So in this case the enlarged card would be 15 x 25 inches.
