What happens to the graph of y=12x+5 when the equation of the line becomes y = 4x+5

    I believe that the answer would be D) the line is 1/3 as steep. Since the slope was 12 in the first equation, and the slope was 4 in the second equation, I can compare them in a fraction 4/12=1/3. 12 is three times larger than 4, and 4 is 1/3 of 12.
