The volume of a cylindrical watering can is 100cm^3. If the raduis is doubled, then how much water can the new can hold?

    V (volume) = pi x r²

    v/pi = r²

    sqrt v/pi = r

    this finds the radius, you can then calculate the new volume by doubling the radius

    v=pi x (2r) ² = 400cm³
