    1/6 (under not enough of other criteria)

    Step-by-step explanation:

    total of student: 60

    1/3 male: 60 x 1/3 = 20

    Female = 60 - 20 = 40

    1/2 with brown hair: 60 x 1/2 = 30

    It seems the answer of 20/60 x 30/60 = 1/3 x 1/2 = 1/6 is the result, but consider the brown hair number is larger than male student (30 vs 20). Therefore there can have the chance of all the boys are brown hair and be chosen, then the probability will become 20/60 = 1/3. While probability result is not a certain result, it only to predict how likely things are to happen.

    Therefore I think 1/6 is an answer.
