A room is 15 feet long, 13 feet wide, and 10 feet high. The walls, ceiling, and floor are all to be painted the same color. How many square feet are to be painted?

    Since it is a 3D area you know your not filling the room with paint so you would multiply 15 and 13 then multiply that by 4 then you multiply 13 times 10 then multiply that by 2 then you add your answer from the first equation with the answer from the second equation, done.

    You just have to multiply all of the number, so 15x13x10=1950 square feet
